What is Italian Ice?
Italian Ice is a smooth, dairy-free frozen dessert made with real fruit puree and pure cane sugar, offering an authentic and delicious experience. Unlike shaved ice or snow cones, the syrup doesn't separate, and the ice remains smooth, providing a thirst-quenching, fat-free, and low-calorie treat at just 15 calories per serving. It’s the perfect alternative to ice cream without the dairy or egg.



Where Does It Come From?
This century-old recipe was brought to the U.S. from Italy by the Maglione family, who settled in northern New Jersey from Sicily. Made fresh in their factory, it’s shipped directly to our warehouse in NC and delivered to our franchisees across the country.

Cost Breakdown

  • Franchise Fee: $6,000 for a 5-year term
     This includes territorial rights, the use of our name and logo, business cards, brochures, and web listing. Pay upfront or in monthly installments of $100 for 60 months. Optional renewals available at no additional cost.
  • Royalties: 5% of gross sales
     For those who pay upfront, no royalties for the first 2 years. If you opt for the lease-to-own plan, you’ll pay 3% in royalties for the first year, and 5% after that.


Wholesale Cost

  • $48 per 5-gallon can / $38 per 3-gallon can (includes shipping)
    Franchisees must purchase a minimum of 24 cans per year (or 34 for non-profits). Additional supplies such as logo cups and miniature baseball helmets are required, with wholesale pricing available.


Cold Storage
Franchisees must secure their own cold storage, with options available at a minimum of $100/month. We offer a shared cold storage option for those within 90 minutes of our facility for $50/month.


Cart Cost

  • 4-can non-electric cart: $2,850
  • 6-can electric cart: $3,900
    Lease-to-own options are available. A 10% down payment is required, and the remaining amount is paid monthly.


Projected Sales & Profit
Our competitors charge $0.75 - $2.00 per scoop. Each 5-gallon can serves approximately 75 four-scoop servings, generating $300 in sales per can.

  • School cups (4 scoops): $4 per cup
  • Miniature baseball helmets (4 scoops): $6 per helmet
